I did my first solo at Deland with a few planes in pattern and a busy day of sky divers. I had to keep telling myself to focus on the landing and not the jumpers coming in, all in all it went pretty well, probably lost a couple pounds from sweating though.

As long as you guys keep working together, as a pilot and an ATC, t here will be no other as informational and educational, as yours

Fairly recently discovered your channel. Enjoyed it so far! We just bought a 1959 Piper Comanche 250 and realize... i don't know how to clean/polish an airplane! This video is a great start. Wish you had included a "shopping list" in the description. But I'll figure it out. 😉

So glad you weren’t airborne when the failure happened. My nephew experienced a magneto failure shortly after takeoff that took his life.
